Terms of Use for this website
These terms cover the use of this website. They are not a treatment agreement and they do not start or describe your care.
Effective and last updated
This website is operated by Goldenturas, A Nursing Corporation ("Goldenturas", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
This site is information, not medical advice
Everything on this website is general information about the practice and the care it offers. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a treatment recommendation for you or for anyone else. It is not a substitute for speaking with a qualified clinician who knows your history.
Do not start, stop or change any medication or treatment because of something you read here.
Who provides your care, and who regulates it
Your care at Goldenturas is provided by Shannon Enochs, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, and by any clinician who joins the practice. Care is provided by that person, not by the company.
A nurse practitioner is not a physician and surgeon. California requires us to tell you this plainly, and we would rather you read it here than work it out later.
Goldenturas and its clinicians are regulated by the California Board of Registered Nursing. The license type, the board's telephone number, and how to check a license or make a complaint yourself are all set out on the Licensing and Regulatory Notice, which is linked from the footer of every page.
Using this site does not make you a patient
Reading these pages, sending a message through the contact form, emailing us, or requesting an appointment does not create a provider and patient relationship and does not begin care.
Care begins only after you have been accepted as a patient, completed intake, and had a comprehensive evaluation. Nothing said before that point should be relied on as clinical guidance.
Because a message sent through this site does not start care, please do not send urgent clinical information through it. We cannot guarantee how quickly a message will be read.
In an emergency, do not use this website
If you are in danger, or you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, call 911.
For mental health crisis support at any hour, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
This website is not monitored for emergencies and is not an emergency service.
No promises about results
Nothing on this site is a guarantee, warranty or prediction about the outcome of any care. Psychiatric care varies from person to person. Descriptions of how care usually works are descriptions, not commitments about what will happen for you.
Where the site describes a medication being prescribed for a use that the Food and Drug Administration has not approved it for, that is stated on the page concerned. Prescribing a medication off-label is lawful and common in psychiatry. It is always a clinical decision made with you, after an evaluation, and never something selected from a website.
Eligibility and where we practice
Goldenturas sees patients located in California. For a telehealth visit you need to be physically in California at the time of the visit. In-person visits are available in Ventura County.
Integrative psychiatric care is available from age 5. The sublingual ketamine program is for adults 18 and older only.
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Other services this site links to
Appointment booking runs through OSMind, a separate company whose scheduler is embedded on our booking page. When you use it you are dealing with OSMind, under OSMind's own terms and privacy policy, not ours.
The site also links out to other organizations, including the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and a YouTube channel. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.
Consent to care happens at intake, not here
California law requires a clinician to explain the use of telehealth and obtain your consent before your first telehealth visit. That conversation, along with consent for any specific treatment, the financial and cancellation policy, and any agreement about controlled medication, happens during intake through the practice's clinical system.
None of that is collected by this website, and nothing on this website should be read as your having given any of it.
Content on this site belongs to the practice
The text, images, design and arrangement of this site belong to Goldenturas or are used with permission. You are welcome to read it, print it and share links to it. Please do not republish it as your own or use it commercially without asking first.
These terms can change
We may update these terms as the practice or the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules.
