Doctor of Nursing Practice · Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing practice, and Goldenturas is a proudly nurse-led practice. I am passionate about growth: meeting people where they are, and supporting what they are building.
Plenty of people never find a medication that fits. That is not a failure of effort on their part, or of the person prescribing.
It is the honest limit of what we have. I started Goldenturas to offer a different kind of care, built around growth and what becomes possible now. We begin with:
Then we decide together what to do with it. Sometimes that means starting a medication, adjusting one, or tapering off something that stopped helping. Often it means looking at sleep, grief, food, movement, and daily rhythm, with a plan oriented toward neuroplasticity: the brain's natural ability to form new connections and patterns.

Goldenturas combines “golden” with the Gaelic word “turas”.
A journey taken on purpose. It is my ancestors’ word, and I chose it because good care moves the same way: one deliberate step at a time, in a direction you have chosen for yourself.
The golden part is the light you are walking toward. Care here is forward-moving: it is about growth, what you are building, and what becomes possible now.
The gold is what we are moving toward.
Whether or not ketamine is ever part of your care.
Visits with flexible timing and length, long enough to actually talk. We meet you where you are.
Care oriented toward growth, neuroplasticity, and what becomes possible now, at a pace you set.
Validated scales at regular intervals, alongside your own account of how life feels. If the two disagree, we talk about it.
You will always know what the evidence supports and where it runs out.
We see patients throughout California by telehealth, with in-person visits in Ventura County. This is a cash-pay practice, so your care is shaped by what you actually need rather than by what an insurance company will authorize, and visits can take the time they take. We provide a superbill after every visit that you can submit to your plan, and if you have out of network benefits it may reimburse a portion of what you paid. We are glad to answer questions about how that works.
One conversation is enough to find out whether this is the right path for you. If it is not, I will say so.
Not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.
